Making history for a high school.

For years, developers attempting to renovate the historic Lane Hotel were stymied by the challenge and expense of installing a fire-suppression system. We cracked the code and helped transform the Lane into what might be the nation’s most beautiful charter high school: Haas Hall Academy. READ MORE

Core states - one of the giants

We made our debut on Electrical Construction & Maintenance (EC&M) Magazine’s Top 40 Electrical Design Firms list in 2019 and an additional appearance on Consulting-Specifying Engineer’s “MEP Giants” list. These lists honor the top revenue-generating engineering firms in the nation.

Since launching our MEP group a decade ago, our engineers have designed over 2,000 building systems nationwide. Having engineers spread out across the U.S. allows our team to not only tackle programs quickly, but to really dive into local zoning and code requirements. We like to think it’s our depth of knowledge and eagerness to exceed expectations that has our clients coming to us when they roll out new initiatives including new builds, system upgrades, or LEED certification.

With a focus on climate change and demand for clean energy, Core States assembled a team of engineers dedicated to the energy market. Our engineers have designed over 76.876MW in battery storage across 150 sites, over 85MW in solar power across 200 sites, over 173.375MW of fuel cell power across 426 sites, 27.84MW in CHP/natural gas generators, and electric vehicle charging stations, meeting sustainability goals and lowering utility costs for private corporations nationwide.

How can our engineers help you?
