John joined Core States Group in 2007 as the company’s first electrical engineer. With an impressive two-decade-long career, he has an extensive background that spans various facets of the electrical engineering field. In his current role, John is a key driver of growth, staffing optimization, and performance enhancement for the company’s electrical, mechanical, and structural engineering teams. His attention to detail ensures exceptional client experiences across multiple markets: Community, Dwell, Educate, Energy, Financial, Fueling + Convenience, Health, Retail, Restaurants, and Workplace.
Through his contributions, John plays an active role in the company’s mission of improving environments for everyday life. From collaborating on designing sustainable energy solutions to delivering outstanding engineering strategies, he consistently enhances the built environment for his clients and their end users.
When John’s not mentoring his team or developing new industry standards, he enjoys camping with his family, smoking meat, playing golf, and rooting for the Razorbacks. His passion for mathematics and figuring out how things worked initially led him into engineering, and what he loves most about his role is witnessing the company’s engineering designs come to .
