“We partner with amazing brands, and we are empowering them to improve people's lives through the built environment. I bet you can’t go a day or two without seeing some of our work.”

D. David Dugan

President and Chief Executive Officer

As President and CEO at Core States Group, Dave Dugan leads a multidisciplinary team focused on creating a world where all environments improve everyday life. This cause is made possible thanks to the company’s uniquely integrated service model, and its fundamental commitment to service. Whether working regionally or on a national scale, Core States Group delivers smarter, more seamless results for its clients – including marquee projects in our local communities, and nationwide programs for some of the world’s most widely known brands.

Dave believes that service and collaboration start from the inside out. As President and CEO, he is dedicated to cultivating a company culture grounded in the values of integrity, service, inclusion, excellence, and innovation. He welcomes all new team members with a call and is focused on ensuring that everyone has an opportunity to succeed – professionally and personally.

Dave originally joined Core States Group in 2013, launching the company’s signage division before running its IT, Construction, and Architecture & Engineering departments. He has had a hand in many facets of the company, and helped catalyze its growth from less than 150 employees to more than 500 over the past decade.

Dave is a self-made entrepreneur and business leader. Prior to joining Core States Group, he founded and ran an IT consulting and software development company for over a decade. He has excellent analysis, innovation, and problem-solving skills, and is known for building effective teams, developing solid business solutions, and driving growth and profitability. He credits his grandmother with instilling the value of service that he’s carried throughout his career.

Outside of his work at Core States Group, Dave treasures family time with his wife and two teenage sons, especially at their cabin in the Pocono Mountains. In addition to enjoying the outdoors, he enjoys playing video games “with the kids” and rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles.
